January 2018 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor & Church,

We trust things are going well and you are off to a good start for the New Year. Jesus said “Behold, I make all things new.” (Revelation 21:5) What a great promise of the things to come.

Last month Aaron, Norm & I went on a 3 hour hike to Bitoi for a weekend meeting. The work there has been going more than 25 years, back in the mountains. Some things are slowly changing as God changes lives. I spoke on the family 8 times, Thursday to Sunday. One person came for salvation. Pray for Pastor Levi, the Kaiowa people, and the church at Bitoi here in Wau valley.

Between Christmas and New Year’s, my grandmother, Edna Irene Jayne, passed away at 94 years of age. She was a huge influence on our lives as a long time pastor’s wife and of course to me personally, especially when we lived in Salina, Kansas. I thank God that she was used in bringing the gospel into our family and for a godly heritage. God has been good.

Thank you again for your faithful prayers and support. As always, both challenges and opportunities will abound in this New Year. May His gospel go forward and His Kingdom increase!

In Him,

Stan & Tresa Rowe and family
