December 2017 Prayer Letter

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This year has flown by, was full of God’s blessings and opportunities to serve Him. Our school year ended December 1. We will resume school February 5. During our “summer break” we will have a change of routine. The Bible School Campus is quieter as some of our students and their families are away for the holidays or for practical ministry assignments. With no weekly teaching load, we can focus on maintenance projects, annual camp meetings and preparations for the coming year.

Tresa is back in PNG and Jim is back in Missouri. It was a great trip for both. Tresa was glad for a chance to help her sisters care for her mom. Her mom is in late stage dementia and will not be returning to PNG. It was good for her dad to be able come back to PNG and be involved in the ministry here. He was a great blessing to all.

An added blessing for Tresa was spending Thanksgiving break with our 3 oldest children. Amanda has finished her classes at Heartland Baptist Bible College and will stay in Oklahoma City until graduation in May. Some of you may see Christopher this next year as he is singing bass on the school’s traveling team, Glorybound. Naomi is enjoying her studies and life at Heartland.

Thank you for your prayers and support this year. It has been a blessing to be your co-laborers here. Current prayer requests:

  • The Annual Watut Preachers Meeting, January 12-14
  • Amanda for wisdom and God’s guidance in a new stage of life
  • The Blumes for health and wisdom for future plans
  • Stan’s mom, Janetta, is in a rehab facility for a few more months
  • The 5 students, & their families over Christmas break:  Eric, Napi, Samos, Timothy, & Mefi.
In Him,
Stan, Tresa, Norman & Aaron Rowe
