July 2016 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor & Church,

As we prepare to return to America once again, and another Independence Day comes around, we pause to pray for wisdom, guidance, and strength. Who knows our future?  The Bible says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD;” “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”

Lord willing, this will be our last letter before furlough. We should arrive in Tulsa July 5th and get settled some there.  We plan to buy an RV from another missionary.   I will then be traveling with Bro Jim Blume to a meeting in Wisconsin in July.  In August, we will be heading out to the East Coast area around DC and the Northeast.  By the end of August we should have Naomi settled into college.

The Revival at Wau Baptist went well in June with Bro. Jim Moore from Australia. I enjoyed doing some of the translating at the church and Bible School.  There was someone saved each of the last 3 morning teaching sessions, as well as many saved at the church in the evenings.  Pray for Arlis, Archie, and Reuben.  It’s a blessing to be a part of it all!

Thank you for your prayers as we return for this short furlough and place Naomi in school. Tresa and I celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary on the way back.   We thank you for your part you play, in the privilege we all have, in being involved in God’s work here.

In Him,

Stan Rowe & family
