Dear Pastor & Church,
Thank you for your prayer and support this last month.
Psalm 107:1 says “O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” God is good, has been good, and its encouraging to be called again to praise Him and thank Him.
As we await the birth of our first grandchild next month, international travel news is not too promising. We continue to receive news from missionary friends and the US Embassy emails. Papua New Guinea is only allowing their citizens and permanent residents to enter. Two weeks quarantine is then required at a few select hotels in the capital. Our information says this is at least K10,000 or around $3,000 US dollars for motels and meals for 14 days quarantine time.
Also at the moment, transiting through other countries in Asia or Australia is also highly restricted. With some, you already need to have a tourist visa (now not being issued) in order to apply for a government’s travel exemption to transit through. Pray for guidance as we continue to work on small projects here, medical issues and Dr’s appointments. Thank you!
