June 2016 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor & Church,

Thank you once again for your prayers and support! It’s hard to believe this month is 20 years since we first started out as missionaries.  Psalm 115:1 says “Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory”.  God is good.

Since we last wrote . . .

Just a quick update since we wrote last month. With 3 and a half weeks till we leave for the states, the storage, cleaning, planning and packing chaos begins! I have a couple more Bible classes this week and will be translating for a visiting pastor from Australia teaching and preaching all next week.  I know Tresa would appreciate your prayers for the inevitable jumble of things as the kids wind down the school year and we prepare for a short furlough.  Pray for these last few preaching opportunities.

Last month I was able to finish up the last couple of weeks of training for the Australian RPL pilots license. It’s a restricted license and a step to learn more.  Thank you for praying as God provides for the flying lessons.  Right now I am waiting on security clearance associated with that.

Prayer Requests

Bro Jim Moore and Bro Erik Sanders will be here preaching at revivals in June.

  1. Naomi and God’s guidance as she leaves for college. After being born and raised in PNG, she’ll have some adjustments stateside.
  2. Tresa’s parents, the Blumes, are on medical furlough. Her mom recently fell and broke her arm near her wrist.
  3. Wisdom from God in all things.

In Him,

Stan Rowe & family
