March 2018
Dear Prayer Partners,
Wow! Busy but good, is one way to wrap it up since we last wrote.
Preacher’s Meeting at Piona
Norm and I went back to a remote area for a preacher’s meeting with some Bible school students. It was one full day riding on a truck and one day hiking the last couple of mountains. They prepared for the meeting by building a bridge over the last river and cutting steps into the last mountain to climb. I spoke 3 of the days. Bro. Alphonse and Bro. Kevin, were the 2 younger pastors who did most of the preaching. Overall, 9 were saved and 3 gave testimony of surrendering to come to Bible school next year. Praise God!
Schools are on again
Opportunities are many for preaching and teaching. I have 11 scheduled preaching and teaching times each week with church, Bible school, and public schools. Then there are other events, chapel, and occasionally a market or a funeral too. Pray for more preachers, teachers and the ability to stay fresh, clear, Biblical and real. God has been good.
Construction projects
We have started in on 3 construction projects this year. One is a 5 room men’s dormitory that Bro Gary Keck has undertaken. Another is a church building at Kaisenik. Then, we are reworking a basketball court built at the Bible school in the 1970’s. We appreciate your prayers for continued progress on all fronts. It’s a privilege to be in the work!
In Him,
Stan Rowe and Family

The only tire in the village washed down river from a far away airstrip where Jim Blume had used it as a cone marker.

While Stan and Norm were in Piona, Tresa decided not to use the bridge on the way to church at Kaisenik.

The Kumalo River ford has delayed us many times. This time Stan had to turn around and go back to Lae until the road was cleared the next afternoon.
