November 2021 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor & Church,

Praise God again for traveling mercies.  After driving and then flying down to the capital, we caught our breath for a few days while we prepared for the international flights.  The same-day Covid19 tests came back negative Thursday morning the 28th, so we boarded our first international flight out of Papua New Guinea.  We had a 6-hour flight from Port Moresby to Singapore, a 7-hour flight from Singapore to Qatar (Saudi Arabia area), and then a 15-hour flight from Qatar to Dallas Ft Worth.  We then took our last one-hour flight from Dallas to Tulsa to arrive home about 11pm Friday October 29th.  Again, we thank God for traveling mercies.  It was our first time to come home the “back way”!

As we mentioned last month, we have resigned as missionaries. We appreciate the prayer and financial support you have given through the years, enabling us to be missionaries.  Thank you!  It was an exciting and challenging 25 years and God has been good.  We have appreciated the emails and phone calls of encouragement.  It’s good to be back with access to an adequate medical system.

As we wind up everything, we wanted to pass on a support recommendation for those who wish to continue to invest in the Bible school there in Wau.

Wau Baptist Bible Training Center support can be sent through:

Please contact us with any questions or if we can help put you in touch with any other Baptist missionaries there in PNG to take on for support.

We have been invited back to PNG for Wau Baptist Church’s 60th anniversary meeting in July, 2022.  Please pray with us as we consider that trip as a possibility for next year.

In Him,
