November 2020 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor & Church,

Happy Thanksgiving! What a roller coaster ride this year of 2020 has been.  We thank God for His continued mercy, grace, and provision once again.  While preparing for a Sunday School class I was reminded of the old hymn “God will take care of you” . . . and it’s still true.  God still reigns.

There is good news on our last remaining visa needed this year.  It has been issued and is promised to be on the way in the passport this week.  The blessing of getting this far has been encouraging.  International travel into the country has been somewhat restricted since March.

Based upon the promise of the visa, we have begun again to check on tickets.  This has not been too encouraging.  Viable flight options before January, either due to COVID restrictions and/or airline seat availability, are not available at this time.  One agency specializing in missionary tickets would not even quote us a price even for January.  We are waiting to hear from one more source, but the best option for January has one-way tickets for $2,143 each.  This is about $1,083 higher (each ticket) than one-way ticket information in August.  We will wait till we have all the visas in hand before buying tickets.

Thank you again for the faithful prayers and support.  May God bless us all with patience and wisdom in challenging times!

In Him,

Stan Rowe & family
